    DefaultWe are losing weight!

    Hello,

When I got him, he was 80 lbs. Since then, we lost 4 pounds! Do I have to be concerned?

    Thanks.

I was waiting for someone more who knows more then me to answer this. I'm by far no expert. I don't think considering all the changes he's been through that 4 lbs would be a big deal. His life has been full of changes lately. If he keeps loosing or acts ill, then I'd go back to the vet who already has most of your $$ But that's just my 2 cents worth. Hope you get a more educated anwer.

Both of mine go up and down a few kilos. I only become concerned it is a huge amount or they start looking a little too lean. Labs are better on the thinner side rather than kegs on legs.

    I wouldn't be concerned....yet.
Both java and Moka often fluctuate. They tend to lose a couple of pounds every spring and summer.

Is he eating well? Getting plenty of exercise? Have plenty of energy? And normal stools?

I'm impressed you weigh your dog.

As the others said, I wouldn't worry too much at this point.
