We have some mystery bumps on our 4.5 yr old yellow lab, Bo. It's like a small cluster of small bumps, under the fur ... right at the base of each ear. We went to the vet and he said it might be a minor skin infection, but that the antibiotics he was already on for a cut paw pad should take care of them. We're through the antibiotics and the bumps are still there. Based on the best look we can get at them, it almost looks like little tufts of fur that can be pulled out - almost like hair plugs. He's been rubbing his ears on the floor for a few months now - the vet said he didn't have an ear infection or anything. He recently started at a new daycare, so we thought that might have something to do with it, but aren't sure. Any ideas on what it might be?
