    DefaultOnline tool for petsí care?

    Hi everyone!

Iím new to this forum and very excited to be here!
Iím here because I love and respect animals. Moreover, I like to search, discover and be informed about their health, behavior, nutrition and whatever else related to their care.

Lastly Iíve been searching for a ďtoolĒ dedicated to petsí care, for example something helpful to arrange/organize appointments to the vet or their training schedule. Iíve come across some smartphone apps (which at most have received negative comments), but found nothing interesting among web tools.

Does anyone have a suggestion on this? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance, nice to meet you all!

Welcome. I'm afraid I can't help you. I still write vet appts. on the calandar in the kitchen and the same calandar has stickers to remind me of heart worm preventive. I'm sure you'll get a wealth of education and ideas on this forum.

Welcome. This is a great place to learn new things, and share things you have learned.

I can't help either as like Kathy I use the fridge for stickies, and a calendar or my diary. I have an antique phone which may have apps, but never bothered to use. A friend uses her computer for those types of things.

You can try this: Dog Breed Info Centerģ, DBI

My vet offers this on their website. They have a pet portal system that you sign up for and all your pets are listed, you can even upload photos to be put on correspondence and statements. You can send requests for appointments and med refills and view past and upcoming appointments. It also shows when they are due for vaccines and physicals and you can sign up for email and text alerts for appointment and medication reminders. I love it. It's such a nice service they offer.

My vet has the same type of service, it is very nice. I do use my calendar on the fridge more than anything though!

    There is also RemindMyPet

Sorry if I'm mistaken, but this appears more of an advertisement thread than a newbie actually inquiring about such a site, LOL.
