Not really sure why its bothering me. Maybe its because my Nalas lineage is unknown. However her tail is kinda short. Its pretty thin and tapers to a point at the end. I dont think it was cut, im just curious. Is this a normal variation for Lab tails? Also maybe it will change as she gets older? Thanks!
My mother's "lab" has a short tail but that is because we aren't exactly sure who his dad is. He is mixed and looks just like a lab, but it is like he only has half a tail. All of the pups in the litter were the exact same way.
i wondered maybe a mix too. But i cannot see anything else but lab, however i am no expert. She was advertised as a chocolate lab. She looks just like a chocolate lab. So i have no idea, her tail just seems a little shorter
I just looked at her picture in your other post and she seems fine to me. If she was from a puppy mill it could just be from questionable breeding practices. I'm glad that you guys rescued her and have given her a good home!
Thanks! I am glad we did too However we are somewhat angry as we paid a lot of money and later found out what these people do Dog are very expensive here. I guess she will just have a little tail That ok, i hope it doesnt affect her swimming.
I understand your anger. We bough a lab puppy about 4 years ago that had parvo and hook worms and died about 9 days after we brought her home. We spent over 1000K in vet bills in just those 9 days trying to save her (emergency weekend fees are crazy high here). It is heartbreaking when people go through this sort of thing.
I am so happy that she is starting to feel better.
how short is short? does it go to her hock?

One sec I will upload a picture also bilbobaggins I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I can only imagine how that was. We paid 750 euro for her. We get paid in dollars, so yeah about a grand. Then on top all the vet bills. However she's worth every penny. We love her. But it angers us that so many families here are getting taken advantage of as we were.. I know it was my fault as I should have researched better. But it was very difficult with the language barrier. Once we met her we instantly fell in love. So nothing else but taking her home mattered to us
It reaches her Hock, Just.
