    DefaultTrouble pooping?

    Hello all!

My 65 lbs. lab/retriever mix swallowed a cooked pork rib two weeks ago. We were worried and watched for the next few days but nothing happened until this morning. He tried to poo and only a small amount of water came out. He has tried to poo twice since and still only some water emerged. He still drinks and before was eating normally but we have not given him food today. No whining or pain, still playful and happy, but any time we take him out he tries and nothing comes out.
How worried should we be? Even after two weeks is it still probably the rib? What should we do?

    Thanks so much!
    -Isaac

I would absolutely call your vet! It sounds like it could definitely be an obstruction.

Knowing its been two weeks, this should immediately addressed to the vet. Hope it's not serious.

He is great! We scheduled an appointment for three days later, but the next day he went normal with no blood or anything. Since then he has been doing well and no straining or anything.

Thank you all for your advice, i think we got off lucky.
