Labs shed, a lot! Daily brushing is helpful.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go - but learning to start over.
There is no way to stop it.
You just have to deal with it.
Yep shedding is normal. Some shed a bit all year, mine tend to have two sheds a year, early spring and early fall. I like a slicker brush or rubber curry comb (zoom groom) to help remove the loose hair. I can brush and remove copious amounts of hair one day and the next day do it all over again.
I agree with Dog Paddle, I also use a slicker brush and rubber curry. I brush with the rubber curry for a minute or so then switch to the slicker brush and then wrap it up with the rubber curry once more. I am able to get a lot of hair off Piper by doing that.
labs shed. lots. then twice a year they shed EVEN MORE!
Diet can help to a certain exetent. Lots of swimming/rinsing (no soap, just water) can help get the loose stuff off. and reglar grooming.

Brushing seems to be the way out to minimize the hair shed...
Thank you all for your advice
1) Warm bath will speed the process up (though makes it worse for a few days obviously!).
2) Stick to just one lab and don't complain. I have 7...
