    DefaultLegs

Just a quick question. Sorry if already asked. I have a 4 month old puppy. His hind legs are slightly higher than his front. I've seen other lab puppies whole don't have this problem but other breed puppies in which this trait is grossly exaggerated. Should I be concerned with his overall health and risk for later hip problem etc. Thanks for your responses.

Hello, I really don't have a good answer for you, but DH and I have noticed with our girl (3months) every day it seems a different part of her body has grown and another looks out of proportion. He's not finished growing yet so he might just catch up still.

Let me add, he is handsome!

LOL, my boy was like that too. For months everywhere he went was downhill. One morning, I swear, we got up and his hind legs had grown an inch overnight but not the front legs. Our girl wasn't like that, she seemed to stay in proportion as she matured. It's not unusual though, for them to shoot out one way and not another, think of some human teenagers you probably know.

I have seen other Lab puppies look like this. Maxx was not one, he grew pretty evenly but there were days his legs looked a little too long, his feet too big, etc. I am sure he will even out.
