DefaultMardi has hiccups almost every day.

They don't seem to bother her and they don't last very long. Does anyone else have a Lab who hiccups a lot? Does it mean anything? I have had many dogs and I vaguely recall that my Lab/Cocker hiccupped.

Maxx does almost every day. They don't last very long. I have no idea if they mean anything important. That is s good question.

Is Mardi a puppy? Every Lab pup I ever had (5) had puppy hic cups often but they grew out of it. Tony is just over 6 months now and he hasn't had hic cups for some time.

Mine does it daily, too. I looked it up and it means your dog is likely a genius.

Maxx had them frequently as a puppy but has them now almost daily and they last less than one minute. I can not recall any of my other dogs having them as adults except for very rarely.

Labs4rescue said she was 2 and my vet says her teeth still have cusps so she is under 2.5.

My puppy is 11 wks old and she always has the hiccups. They don't last longer than a minute but she gets them often. I remember one day she got them right after putting a couple teeth sized holes in my favorite flip flops and I said "ha! Serves you right little one".

Jaxx had them pretty much everyday when we first got him. Until he was around 10-12 weeks old and then they seemed to just poof.
