well, with the help of herbs and chinese herbs , rex's liver levels are wonderful.
he's off the pred, as of today, and i'm home cooking, finally.

i made 6 lbs of skinless and deboned chicken thighs, 6lbs of broccoli, carrots, peas, 21/2 lbs of sweet potato, can of organic pumpkin, some oatmeal.
i think it's about 8 days worth of food but dont really know. he's going to get 1/1/4 cups 2x per day with the proper supplements needed for liver and home cooking.
nick better eat some of this tonight because i am so done.
i was up to my a$$ in food, mixing in my largest roasting pan.

Nellie has been on Chinese herbs for several illnesses and I am surprised at how well they worked.

It is wonderful that his liver levels are back to normal! You are an awesome dog mom to cook for him to keep him healthy.

That's amazing! Interesting re Chinese herbs, just curious what all you have him on? Such a good mama cooking for your boy. I'm so glad he's doing so well, it was touch & go there for awhile and such a long road to this stage. YAY!!
