    DefaultAccidents and anal leakage

I have a 3 yr old chocolate lab Kain. The other night I noticed a large wet spot on our bed, at first I thought it was just a shadow, then I thought he had either been licking his foot or drooling. But the bed was too wet, when I went to smell the spot I knew it was pee. Kain can hold his bladder all day easy. So I know this had to be an accident. Then a couple of days ago some family came over and my uncle scared him and I saw secretions squirt out of his butt as he ran off. ( did I mention he was a rescue dog). Then last night there was kind of drops on my hallway floor, but it was late and too dark to see what it was

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with him.

Sounds like two different things. He may have a UTI and that could be the cause of his leakage. The anal squirting could have been him releasing his anal glands because he was scared. (Think skunk spraying). I've never had a dog do this - but it is possible.

I'd see the vet with a urine sample if you have had the leaking urine more than this one time.

I agree with Sharon. I had a lab who sprayed her annal glands when she was scared. She was also a rescue who had had a terrible life.
