    DefaultPuppy's Eyes are Red and Puffy

    Got home today and found the puppy's eyes are red and a little puffy. Is this normal? Should I be worried? She is acting normal, eating, playing, etc. What could caues this?

    Could be conguntivites (sp). I would call your vet. It is not normal.

    No it is not normal and abnormalities of the eye should be seen by a vet.

    when in doubt, call the vet. A good vet should be able to field your call and tell you if you need to come in. I do this all the time with my vet (regular and emergency vets). I call and talk to them, they have always been good at helping. Now, they do generally opt on the side of caution and recommend going in but depending on the issue they will just tell me what to watch out for and if it doesn't get better when to come in.
