QuestionOpinions? New food for 1 year old?

Madison will be a year next month, we are looking for a new dog to change over to. She is currently on ProPlan. Any opinions on what would be good? How about keeping her on ProPlan or what about Natural Balance ... looking for ideas?

Is she having any issues on the ProPlan? You could switch her over to the ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach. With all the ProPlan changes lately, this is what I am recommending for my puppy people. I am not a fan of Natural Balance.

Nutri-source adult lamb and rice. check them out
Super Premium Dog Food & Cat Food | NutriSource

it's a GREAT quality food, with REAL lamb as the main ingredient, is grain free, NO BYPRODUCTS, and has omega 3's and 6 already in it. it's the only brand I'll feed my baby. I get it from my local pet store and it runs about 25 bucks for an 18 lb bag

Thank you .... she is not having any problems at all ... she seems to like it and she has been on it since she was a wee pup. Since you should switch the food to adult at 1 year I would like to keep her on the pro plan and go that route.

    What ProPlan changes?
    Did they make any changes?

If dogs do not go to heaven, then I prefer to follow them where they go.

Mo is on the Nutri Source large breed puppy and we will be moving him to the adult food in a few months. He loves it and our vet always remarks on how well his skin and muscles look.

Switch her over to a higher quality food. There are many grain-free options at your local pet store.

    I agree!

In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.
