DefaultSome new pics of Bilbo and one health question...

Hey! Since we got Bilbo, I've noticed that he lies like this on the floor a lot:

Note the back leg position. Both back legs are usually like this. As he's getting older, he is sleeping in more of a 'conventional' dog position, with legs tucked under like you'd expect. I was wondering if I should move his leg position to the normal when I see it like this, or whether it's perfectly fine and won't cause problems when he's older.

And now, a couple more pics from yesterday and today... he's growing so fast! Although I am looking forward to seeing him a handsome 'man' dog one day, it makes me sad that he's not all chubby and squishy like when we got him!

First one is a little smudged because he had just put his nose to the lense!

I wouldn't worry about it. It's an unusal position for sure, but if he is comfortable I would not interfere.

He is a very handsome puppy!

    He sure is handsome.

I have seen mine sleep like that and perfectly o.k. We often think how on earth can they be comfortable when we see some of their sleeping positions. Legs in all sorts of angles.

Glad to know it's "normal" (well, 'quirky' at worst anyway ) I guess it's like crossing legs for us, I remember at primary school doing it for hours on the classroom floor for assemblies/book reading, but now I'm older, it gets painful after about 30 mins!

Look at my siggy and see Gems asleep on top of Erns. Now that couldn't be comfortable, but they did it all the time.

Your boy could be a twin to my big Mo. He was 18 weeks Friday and use to sleep with both his legs kicked out behind him. I was also wondering where my pup went but can't wait to see what he looks like as an older dog
