    DefaultVomiting huge piles????

Remington, who is one year old, has had horrible gas and has been vomiting little bits for the last couple days. Last night and today he vomited huge piles. He seems to act okay. Could it just be a stomach bug? Should I cut back on food for a few days? Thanks in advance for all the help and advice!

Is he passing stool? I'd be worried about a possible obstruction......

Ditto. Can you get him in to a vet?

Vomiting once or twice little bits, not a big deal usually but several days and huge pile with bad gas, I would be at the ER.

Yes, he is passing stools and acting like himself tearing around with the kids.

I would contact your vet! I'm just on the mend with Parvo in my fully vaccinated puppy, we started for the vet thinking possible obstruction because it was vomit after vomit and then as soon as I got off the phone from making his appointment the diarrhea started and within an hour I had a sick, sick dog. I'm not saying your dog has parvo, but trust me, the quicker you act the better the outcome! Good Luck!

Passing stools is better than not, but I would still be contacting the vet. That is a lot of vomit, he could be getting dehydrated, it could be something similar to parvo -- this is worth looking into ASAP, don't just "wait & see" dogs can take a quick turn for the worse.

I would see the vet. If you haven't been able to get an appointment I would feed rice and chicken. Let us know how you get on.
