    Defaultdog food question

Gracie was on Wellness large breed adult dog food, her stool was kind of soft. I have gradually put her on Pinacle chicken and oats and things seem to be getting better. While Lola was still with the breeder she was also on Wellness puppy, that was too rich for her and some of the pups had diarrhea, so the breeder switched to pro plan chicken and rice not to long before I picked her up. I am trying to keep them on the same food if possible, but Lola has had diarrhea. I am not sure if it is from switching foods or if it just does not agree with her. What should I do? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Is Lola just loose or squirty? (sorry for the overly descriptive language!)

Puppies can get dehydrated very quickly. If the latter, I would do boiled ground chicken for several days til she is pooping normally and then introduce the new food. Whenever you transition from one food to another you have to do it extremely gradually or diarrhea will often result.

If she is not quickly better on the chicken and rice, get her to a vet.

loose, pudding like not watery. I make sure there is always water available for her and she does drink quite a bit of it. I am going to do the chicken and rice in the morning and see how that goes. Thanks for the help
