Okay so I woke up this morning and Molly wasn't in bed with me. I called and she came up from downstairs. She had kitty litter in her paws and breath stank. It was pretty obvious she had eaten cat poop. I don't think she ate much kitty litter but it is the clumping kind so I know it can be dangerous. She has had some diarrhea but mostly she has had very loose stools. She has had some gas. She has no bloating and is eating, playing, and drinking normally. What should I look out for...I don't think a vet visit is necessary right now but am keeping an eye on her.
I have made it so she can't get to the kitty box now...lesson learned.
A dognostic nose there is a Dog.
My son's boxer seemed to think the litter box was her own personal smorgasbord! She used to chow down every chance she got! My son worked and worked at breaking her of it. He finally got her to stop, but not before she had eaten her weight in cat poop and clinging litter! It never hurt her. So I would think your labby will just poop in out. If she were getting clogged up, I would think she'd vomit. I would just keep a watch on her. Here's a link:
