I know not all supplements work the same depending on how they are made but I'm looking for a good quality glucosimine chond. supplement. Right now Koko is on syn-flex, its a liquid form for dogs. Can't really tell any difference. Vet wants her on dasiquin. I am considering starting her on Lubrisyn as well. Our main problem is difficulty rising. We do 2 half mile walks a day and multi games of fetch. Her weight is good at 65lbs.
I really have had great luck and very happy with the human form of gluc/cond/msn. I use Osteo BiFlex triple strength for my old gal with joint problems. I combine that with Nature's Farmacy CCM Plus. I have found using just one of either of them in her case was not enough. I had to combine the two.
Consumer Reports rated the "Kirkland" G 1500 mg/C 1200 mg from Costco the most potent and least expensive.
That's what Puff and I take daily.
