UnhappyAny idea of what this 'thing' could be?

My lab has this strange thing located on her ear (in a little flap)... The needle exam turned to be benign but it's impossible to know for sure.
Today it ulcerated and the pus is smelling REALLY, REALLY BAD... Went to the vet again and she told me to clean it with oxygen water and then re schedule a new visit in a couple of weeks...

The reason I'm posting this is to see if anyone had experienced something like this...

Here's a pic of the "thing" (took one month ago)

    Thank you very much

You must keep this ear very clean. I recommend wrapping it up before your dog takes it in more bacteria filled areas and makes it worse. See another vet before the problem gets worse! Good luck.

It sounds like it could be an infection. I would be seeing a different vet.

Who said anything about a paw? If you can't read with comprehension, you shouldn't be offering advice.

Not sure what it is, but there's no way I'd wait a couple of weeks. I would get a second opinion very quickly.

Agree with Laura, that does not look good. Get a second opinion, any growth on your dog needs to be addressed asap.

Its an ear, little girl. Read ALL the words.

To the OP. Like others have said, I would get to another vet asap.

just to be well informed before going to another vet

    1) Is there a way to remove this thing to know for sure what it is? What the procedure is called?

    2) What can I expect to be a good treatment? (instead of just keeping it clean)

thanks you guys for the help

I'm sure it can be removed surgically. It might be a difficult recovery since there are a lot of blood vessels in the ear and they tend to bleed A LOT. if it were me, I'd want it removed and have a pathology done on it
