Defaultshe threw up, what should I do?

Today I had Cassie tied up in the back porch because we were doing some works in the back yard. Every now and then I was taking her for a walk and then tied her up again. She had breakfast at 07:30', meal at 13:00' and the last one at 18:00'.

At 20:25' I took her for another walk and in 5' minutes time she threw up her last meal. I didn't give her anything else the whole day. Just her meals.

I was watching her after she threw up to see if she was ok or not. She was very energetic as always. She was playing around in the house and then we played fetch outside. Then I took her for another walk at 21:30'.

Any idea why she threw up? Shall I feed her in the morning and should I skip breakfast and give her some chicken breast tomorrow noon?

I haven't called the vet because she is ok.

Erns often throws up after eating.
Did the food look like it did before she ate it....and grossing you out.. Did she eat it again? Erns will if I don't get to him quickly enough.
How many times has she vomitted?
Hope she is o.k. If she keeps vomitting I would call the vet.

She vomited only once and she didn't eat it afterwards. And I didn't give her another meal for the night.

shall I feed her this morning?

Yes, the food looked like it did before she ate it.

I would go ahead and feed her in the morning if she does not throw up anymore. It sounds like she is just fine.

Sometimes they inhale their food and forget to chew! They will upchuck the whole kibble. If the kibble wasn't chewed it will sometimes just come up. It's not like they are actually vomiting, its up-chucking. I would slow her down as she eats. As long as she doesn't have diahrrea or acting sick, I wouldn't worry to much at this point. Go ahead and feed her, jus slow her down. This can also happen if they run and play and get hot and drink water too fast.

I gave her prescription diet i/d for breakfast and see how it goes. I have the break fast bowl to slow her down. After her meal yesterday at 18:00' she was crated because I went to see my grandmother for a while. I came home after 2.5 hours and I took her for a walk and she vomited 5 minutes later.

She was ok afterwards, she played and run. She's fine today, so I'm not worried. But I will inform our vet on Monday morning.

    Thank you all.
