    DefaultRED BUMP ON LIP

About a week ago, I noticed a bump on Mallie's lip, wondering if anyone knew what it could be?? It's not painful to the touch, or when I squeeze it. She's eating fine. There are also a couple of small red bumps under her chin, they do not seem to be the same thing. I'm going to take her to the vet as soon as possible, but if anyone could help put my mind at ease I would be ever so grateful.

It is had to say without seeing them. I don't know how old your dog is. Young dogs can get papillomas, which are like warts in people. They are caused by a virus & usually go away on their own. They also could be a staph infection that may need antibiotics. It is always best to have your vet check them.

I spent 2 hours trying to upload pictures and couldn't figure it out. Do you happen to have a link to assist me a little better? Mallie is almost 8 months old.

I hope this helps. I use PictureTrail to upload my photos & then just click on "IMG", copy & paste it in your post. Good luck. I am not too tech savvy, sorry.

Google "canine papilloma virus", hit "images" and see if the pictures match.
