Hi my 12 week old female gets the hic ups often. Is this something common?

It is very common. Sophie got them a lot when she was younger. She still gets them once in awhile now, and she is 6 months old.

Yes, much more common in babies than adults, but still happens

FWIW -- our 9 1/2 week old gets them roughly daily, sometimes more than once a day. I remember the same thing with Misty when she was a puppy. They decrease significantly in frequency in my experience as they get older, but puppies seem to get them alot! Fortunately, they don't seem to last too long...a couple of minutes?
