DefaultWell if it wasn't bad enough she is just getting over an ear infection...............

Now I think Coco has a UTI!!!!!
She had 5 accidents in the house between over night and this morning!
She hasn't had an accident in the house since 12 wks old! (she's 9 mths now)

I can't believe she didn't wake me up to go. She has in the past when she needed to in the middle of the night.
AND I saw a little blood on the carpet where she was sitting.
She's now on a beach towel next to me at my desk.
    Vet appointment at 3pm

I've been trying to read some of the threads about UTI's but if anyone wants to make it easier on me and just post advice here, I'd appreciate it.
Background info: she is spayed, and I don't believe she has a recessed vulva.
She usually swims daily, but has been out of the water for a few days because of the ear infection.
Yesterday was her first time in 5 days back in the water. Does anyone think this may be related at all???

    Thanks.
It's a tough life.....but someone has to do it.

I hope she gets better soon! Maybe there's a connection to swimming? Does she hold her bladder long to cause an infection?

The longest she holds it is overnight. From about 11pm-7am.
I'm home during the day and don't leave them for longer than a few hours at a time.
8 hours is the longest I've EVER left them.

Vet said it's is a UTI.
She now has meds and I hope feels better very soon!
