    Defaultafter changing dog food

-tanks stools have been firmer and not all runny and gross.
-his teethe even look better and his over all health has been better and his weight is not going up and down. it is staying around the same 75-80lb's.
    - All of the dogs coats are shinnier and i get complements on them all the time!
the dogs even like this dog food better then the old kind. mae is a very picky eater so we were scared she would not eat but she did eat it. She used to eat irregulary and after switching foods she eats atleast one meal a day. We did ask the vet about it and he was not concerned.

Glad the food change went well Deidra, doesn't even matter what food it is as long as all the pups are doing well on it!

Purina one, it was in our budget range and has beeter nutritional value than Dog chow.

That's great news. Purina ONE is a good brand. If they're out of the Pro Plan that I use I always go to ONE for a back up.

I have been feeding Iames Puppy....the local grocer ran out so I bought Purina One Puppy and now Sophie's stools are loose and a different color. Funny how dogs are different. I am going to have to drive to a larger town about 20 miles away today to get a bag of Iames.

Did you gradguly switch her? If she just got a different meal that day it could have caused it to, but your right every dog is different

I got her another bag of Iames today. I will try mixing it a little later on...see if it was the switch that caused it. Stupid "One_horse_town" ran out and I had to pick up a different food the other day. Sophie usually does ok with change....she manages to be a cheetos bandit once in awhile, or digs a pudding container out of the trash and licks it dry....you know the story. Whatever our labs can reach while counter surfing!

I am really glad it is working out. As Di says if they are doing well and healthy then that is all you can ask for.
