    How hard is it to treat and what is the success rate.
    Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you.

    ETA. It is dog I am going to look after so have no idea at the moment what food it is on. I can change that.

    How strange that you should post this in an eczema thread ! Assuming that you are not familiar with Forums, both St. Bernards and Goldens are generally good with children.

    My worry is that you are posting on a Labrador Forum ( Golden Retrievers are NOT Labradors ) and seem to be choosing a dog depending upon it's cost.

    If you are looking for cheap then you can do a lot worse than visit your local kennels and buy a Labrador or Labradorcross. Labradors generally love children and are very gentle with them.

    Add to this that you will be giving a Labrador a new lease of life AND saving yourself some money.
