    DefaultLimber Tail Syndrome???? Please Help

Hey guys i was hoping someone could help me out. My wonderful buddy Beckham just started acting differently today. He seems more lethargic when at home but still jumps when someone comes through the door or when I say lets go for a walk. this morning we went on a trail walk and he seemed fine. But he just seems out of sorts. He seems to have a problem sitting and his tail is straight down. I looked up these symptoms and I keep getting Limber Tail Syndrome. Can someone please help me out so I don't worry out of my mind. He's still eating like a horse and still plays but he seems to have trouble sitting and like I mentioned before about his tail. Thanks Guys

Limber (cold) tail happens to many Labs. It's not serious and will go away on it's own in a few (5-7) days. It does hurt, and your vet may prescribe some kind of pain killer, but that is not entirely necessary. One of my Labs has had it a few times. They do look very sad with the droopy tail don't they?

I gave him some doggy aspirin and yes he looks super sad just mopping around the house. I knew he wasn't well when he didn't try to eat my food, usually I have to eat with caution around him but he just laid there looking at me that's when I knew. I cant wait for my hyper buddy to return in full form.

He was quieter -not truly lethargic. Mine has had it 3 times (but not in the last couple of years). Once he got it from excessive tail wagging when he visited his good friends at the vet!

My girls have had cold tail too. They do look sad. I just rested them for a few days & it went away.
