Hi all, hope everyone had a great Mothers' Day.....
My 8-year-old yellow, Daisy, has been on Cosequin and now Dasuquin for about 4 years. She was showing early signs of arthritis, and our vet suggested a GL/Chon/MSM product. But now I am reading about supplements that contain hyaluronic acid and resveratrol; some of these are Hylasport, PetThrive, Trixsyn, Lubrisyn, and Resvantage. I'd love to hear about some experiences with these....I just don't really trust reviews that are on the manufacturer's websites.....Thanks in advance!
There are so many things on the market it is hard to know which is the best.I haven't tried any of these. My vet suggested synflex which he says is a more pure form of glucoasmine.I am not sure if it has made any difference as his hips are getting progressively getting worse. He has 3-4 weekly injections which are wonderful. Swimming has been the best thing for him.
Good luck. It is hard deciding what is the best for them.
I use Hylasport Canine for my girl Java...nothing but good things to say about it. She's been on it for almost a year and a half now...no limping, no lameness and no stiffness at all. (She's had 2 knee surgeries, has ED and DJD). I highly recommend it.
