    DefaultBest food storage container?

I usually buy the small bags but the store was out so i bought a big one. Since spike is getting bigger I should probably go this route anyway. Any suggestions on the best airtight container to keep it in? I have an old one from the supermarket that has a hinged blue lid but if there is something better I'd rather have that

I got mine from Walmart. It has wheels and also has a blue hinged lid that snaps/locks down. It still has the label on it and says it holds 25 lbs. It says "pureness" on the label, made by van ness. I googled it and they do make a 50 lb container also. Here's the link: Van Ness Pureness Pet Food Containers

Thanks - according to the website my supermarket should carry these - well in name anyway, there's not much mine carries. The walmart is about 45 mins to an hour away. I'll be glad to get something made specifically for keeping his food fresh!

I use a screw top container that has a really good seal on it to keep the food fresh. They have then in Petcos and Petsmarts. Anything with a flip lid is not going to have a good seal, and there is a possibility that the do will find a way to get ino it.

Diito on the screw top lid. I have two, one for dog food and one for cat food. They came from Petsmart.

Sounds like what I got (Vittles Vault). It has a rubber gasket, screw lid, and is allegedly air tight.

We use a vittles vault. Dump the bag in and clip the numbers off the back.

I have a large one with the screw on top, it seems to keep the food fresh and it is impossible for the dogs to get into it. A friend uses a flip top for their food and our dogs always get into their food bin when we go over and visit. However my boys go through a huge bag of food every 2 weeks so it isn't in there very long

Ditto the screw top here, we have the same one as Nick. I just pour it in, whats the reasoning behind keeping it in the bag, the opening to our container would never allow you to fit the full bag in it.
