So, my husband was petting Lita last night and he found a lump on her chest, right by her left leg. I'm hoping that it's just a fatty lump, but I have booked an appointment with the vet for tomorrow.
I cried my eyes out when I felt it though! Thoughts of losing her after this short a time just crushed me! She's around 2-3 years old, so is it normal? From reading older posts and looking online, they seem to happen to older dogs.
If you could keep miss Lita in your thoughts, it would be really appreciated!

She'll be in my thoughts. My Babe had the fatty lumps but she didn't get them until she was like 9 or 10. Love the photo!
You can usually tell fatty lumps. When you grab them they are separate from the body. However, there are lots of benign lumps that Labs get so no panicking until the vet sees her. Make sure hey do a needle aspiration at the very least.
