My 10 week old Pup bit off and swallowed one of the ends of a nylabone. I have read that the nylon will pass and the dog will be fine but she is little! She has ate, drank, gone to the bathroom, and napped since. Should I worry??
The piece was about 1/4" or so
Is it the kind that is specially made for puppies, Nyla starter edible bones or a regular edible one for bigger dogs? I think either way she should be fine as long as it's digestible, her stomach acids will go to work on breaking it down. I am not an expert but our pup did the same thing and she was fine and after that I just watched her closely while she chewed them.

She should have no problem with a piece that small - it'll pass right through.
I don't like the edible ones - the harder nylabones are better.

It was in a pack of 3 with one edible one and two puppy durable ones. It wasnt the edible one.
She should be fine...Java has always had the Nylabones (not the edible ones either) and she has bit off and swallowed small pieces of it and been fine.
It will pass!!
Don't worry-I'm sure she'll swallow alot worse things soon enough!! lol
Just read some of the stories on here about what other people's dogs have eaten...it's kind of funny!!
