Can anyone tell me what is on the rim of Jake's eye lid?

I would be in to see the vet. Sometimes they get harmless growths that actually disappear on their own. Sometimes they get growths that can just be left alone. Sometimes they get growths that have to be removed. I think only a vet can tell you.

Holly has the same thing growing on the top of her eyelid. I was at the vet the other day & forgot to mention it. She's not scratching or rubbing it so presumably it's not worrying her. Thanks for reminding me. I'll add it to the list of things I want to ask him when I take her back next week for a check up.

    Is it worrying Jake?

Sending good thoughts it is just a harmless growth. I wanted to look because our old lab had a growth right at the inner corner of her eye. vet said to watch it. It was over a year we watched it but then it got a little bigger and it started to bother her because she would "paw" at it. We had it removed. it was a benign growth...kind of like a wart he said.

Please let us know how Jake is.

My mom's old girl has one. It is not affecting her vision or irritating her so we leave it alone but do get it checked periodically by the vet.

You need a vet to confirm that its something to worry about or not.

Definitively see a vet to get his/her opinion. Saba has one in the corner of his left eye. We've been watching it with the vet for a couple of years now, but it's not growing and it's not bothering him, so the vet decided to leave it.
