    DefaultJoints/Arthritis

Just wondering if there is a type of medication or brand that you guys swear by out there. My 12 yr old has terrible arthritis in his shoulders, and has had it for about three yrs now. I've tried just about everything known and nothing really shows any visible signs of comfort.

My Lola has trouble with her knee and has severe HD, she is on Phycox, it is a joint supplement and it seems to make a big difference. I get it from the vet, I am not sure where else to purchase it. Good luck and prayers for your pup.

    What have you tried?

There is a list of products on my blog. Sometimes its a combo that works. Read the importance of enough protein for seniors.

My 2 year old girl has ED and has had 2 knee surgeries in the last year.
She is on Hylasport, Grizzly Salmon Oil, MSM & Vit. C.
Definitely seems to be helping her, especially in the cold weather. She has steel plates in both back legs.
No limping, lameness or stiffness at all.

Wow! Thanks guys. I've tried Rimadyl, Cosequin, Dasaquin, Ostio Byflex, among others. I'll definitely give some of these a shot.

I would try Chologel if you haven't, it's been great for my older dog.
