Defaultlethargic puppy after the holidays... normal?

So after a 4 day stay at the parents, our 6 month old puppy seems to be down. Ratchet was normal the entire visit except today. at first i thought he was just tired from staying up all night looking for the cats, but then he puked.it was around 10am he puked up a kleenex that he had eaten last night. he hasn't touched his food or water today, but that's not too out of the normal as he eats at a seemingly random basis. he has been very sullen though all day just sleeping. also his stool looked a little soft, otherwise his peeing seems normal. he did get alot of excercise yesterday as well as attention from the whole family. i'm just wondering how long i should wait before calling the vet as i'm sure they'll tell me to bring him in.

See how he is tomorrow. If there isn't any change or if he gets worse in the meantime, I'd be heading to the vet.

that's what i was planning on doing. he just isn't moving at all. i took his temp, 102.5, which is on the high side of normal. also i palpated his abdomen and he didn't seem to have any discomfort. so hopefully all goes well.

looks like i'll be taking him in tomorrow if not yet tonight. he ate a few treats out of my hand but wouldn't touch a dogster (dog ice cream treat) that is usually his favorite.

just got back with ratchet. they did quite a few tests and took some x-rays, nothing showed up too strange. they diagnosed him with something to do with bad gas. gave him some subcutaneous fluid and celenia? told us he should be alright but take him back in if he pukes or gets worse. and to put him on a rice/chicken diet for a few days.
i can't wait for him to get better, it's so sad to see him like this.
