I saw this at our local feed and seed and had never heard of this brand. Our lab is only 2 and already has joint problems. (She is on Adequan already) She has had both her front elbows operated on. Anyways thats a whole 'nother story. One of exclusive's bags advertises healthy joints so and it was well priced so i want to get it. Just making sure it's not a huge mistake
Sorry I have never heard of it my Kimber has also had hip proublems and had to have surgery. I have always used Eukaduba for large breeds cause it has stuff in it for joints and I also give her joint max pill with every meal. she has always done great you would never know she has had any hip proublems. So if you wanted to change food I would just really research it first so good luck and let us know how it goes.

I would beware of any food advertising healthy joints. I'm sure it contains glucosamine, which can help joints, but it's not usually at a level in the food to actually do anything. Your best bet is to continue on whatever it is you are feeding (if you're happy with it) and add additional glucosamine and/or other joint supplements if you want.
Like Large Breed dog foods, adding small amounts of glucosamine to a food is a gimmick, one to suck an owner into feeling better about feeding it.

Thanks Labby!! I'll probably end up buying the food because of size and price, I think it's like a 42 lb bag for $40 where as right now we feed daisy Purina Pro Plan. We are spending mega bucks on her medicine a month so i figured I would cut down on the price of her food
