    Defaultringworm cure

I just noticed today that Dio has 2 red rings on his belly. According to my internet research, it's ringworm. What have you guys done to get rid of it? Is there any way to keep it away?

You need to see your vet since ringworm can be passed to humans also.

You need a definitive diagnosis by the vet. Using the black light to see ringworm glow green is not definitive. They need to do a skin scraping and send it out to the lab to be sure.

Yes, I agree that he should be taken to the vet to be sure. Ringworm can be horrible to get rid of! My seven year old picked up a case of it on his scalp (the hardest place to treat it because it goes down into the follicle)last year, and it took SIX weeks of liquid medication to get rid of it! What a pain!

get to the vet - adn go after it hard if it is ringworm ...
both oral and topical meds can be used but the over the counter stuff for people is not going to do the trick through hair
