    DefaultSeizure again

Sam woke up this morning and went into a grand mal seizure. This happened once last July. Both times he starts to throw up and then the seizure starts. Obviously seizures are complex, but my question is...do you think the throwing up is the trigger or is it just a reaction to the mis-fire in his brain? Trying to figure this all out! Any thoughts would be welcome.

I would say a reaction. My golden retriever would have a small bowel movement. So may not be the same as your situation, but it was a reaction in my dog's case. I know you want to postpone drugs for as long as possible, but phenobarbital should allow your dog to lead a normal life. It did for my dog.

    Best of luck.
