Yup. I have 2 girls and they both had a vaginal infection when they were puppies. Easy enough to take care of with some meds.

Are you tallking vaginal infection or puppy vaginitis? Meds/antibiotic will not do anything for vaginitis since it is not a bacteria.

If it is vaginitis here is some info from repro vet Dr. Hutch

It depends on what you mean by vaginal infection. If you are seeing puppy vaginitis, which is usually identified by some mucus after the puppy pees, this is common in bitch pups under 6 months. Typically since they are small, their bottom hits the grown when they pee, and they are too small to properly keep their vulva clean. Wiping her after urination with a wet cloth or an unscented baby wipe usually clears it up pretty quick without antibiotics.

HUH? Yes, cleaning the dog to remove the mucus will help. It will not CAUSE an infection.
