    DefaultPad problem

My boy is 14 yr old and has developed a raw place on his pad. I have been doctoring it with triple antibiotics gel and iodine also wrapping it. It has been 2 weeks and sometimes seems to get better and he goes and plays outside but then it's injured again -- and we repeat. Any ideas what this might be or where it came from?? Could he have chewed his pad?? He's never chewed on himself before. Thanks for your help in advance.

Possibly he's licked it raw, but I think you'd notice that.

Try EMT gel. It works really well. You can get it at your local feed store if you have one nearby or online.
