Hi all new to forum for an answer on george my 9 years old yellow lab, he has developed a few lumps one on front leg another in the neck and just noticed one under belly these don't hurt him and they don't seem to bother him at all please tell me should i rush him to the vets??????
Are they under the skin? It sounds like they may be just fatty tumors, but you won't know for sure unless they are checked.
Fatty tumors or floaters can be moved around a bit under the skin.
Best to go to the vet and have these lumps aspirated to determine if they are fatty tumors or something more serious.
I would also be doing full blood work on a dog that age - if it has not been done lately.
I am not a vet, so I think you should take your dog in to get him/her checked out
However, we had the same thing happen to our three-legged Lab mix.
The vet said it was a lipomas, which is a kind of fatty deposit that are completely benign and usually go away by themselves.
We had our lumps removed under our 8 yr old labs underarm and she did just great. They were just fatty tissue lumps, but sure had me scared!!!!!
We'll pray your's are just fatty also.
