DefaultSeamus and Flynn Discuss: Gettling Late Earlier

    Hey, Seamus?
    Yes Flynn?
How come it's so dark outside now when it used to be light?
I'm not sure, Flynnie, but I think it's something called "Mother Nature".
What does she have to do with it? Light is light and dark is dark. Why does she mix them up?
Well, Flynn, she has to take care of so many things on this earth. It's not easy to keep them straight.
Is Mother Nature dizzy or somethin?
No, she's watching out for all the flora and fauna. I know you know the word flora, Flynn.
Uh... yeah... I did say that once, dint I.
Mother Nature has to help all the stuff on earth have a lot more sleep in the cold months. So they can be really ready to bloom out and give birth to new life in the warm spring months! That's why she makes it dark now.

    *Flynn ponders*

So, Seamus, are we going to bloom or birth in the spring?
Uh, well, no. We'll probably just go swimming again.
    COOL! Roll on spring!
    Agreed, Flynnie. Agreed!

The Seamus and Flynn stories are great. I look forward to reading them. We need more.

So, Paddy's Mom, have you considered trying to put together a book of these stories from these two characters? Have you talked with anyone about why you might be coming up with these stories?

There was a similar conversation at my house last night between my teenage son and his friend. The conversation between Seamus and Flynn was much more intelligent than the one between the teenage boys!
