because it will make your lab BONKERS!! OMG - Remy had us laughing so hard last night! We have a baby gate that divides the house and hubby wanted to get Remy on the same side of the house as we were so we could keep an eye on him...but he didn't have anything to lure him with. So he geniusly made pretend to have something in his hands and made a big deal over it and "threw" it into the tv room. Remy came charging in and was all "Wha...? Hey! Where did it go?" So we were giggling and hubby does it again and "throws" nothing over Remy's head. Remy looks and looks...

and then decided it must have gotten caught in the ceiling fan and spent the next 5 minutes jumping up to try to reach it!! Poor baby...we won't be doing that again, but it was good for a laugh!

It is funny , but they do catch on pretty quickly. When I play fetch with Bauer I always use 2 balls or frisbees or whatever. Every once in a while he will get distracted and come back without the toy. I used to be able to pretend to throw the other toy, and he would run in the direction of the "throw", find the original toy, and think I had just thrown it. He has caught on, and now when I pretend to throw it he just stares at me :suspious:.

That is funny. Maggie picked up on that one pretty quick. She listens for the ball to land now. Smart doggie!
