I took Tal in yesterday for his second, and last, phase of his HW therapy. One of the possible sides is sickness as in nausea. I packed his lunch and a frozen kong and they were not planning on giving it to him because they didn't want to risk him getting sicker. Well, no signs of any problems, and he did so well, they went ahead and fed him his lunch, and he got to enjoy his kong in the afternoon too
I got to bring him home in the afternoon, so there was no overnight stay required this time either!
Now we have to wait 4 months, and have hime tested again to make sure he is completely free of the worms!
It will be 2 weeks before he can start with unrestricted activity. I know he and Barney both will be glad to get back to normal stuff outside! :surprise: :surprise:
I hope everything continues to go well for Tal.
I'm so glad the therapy is over. I'll keep my fingers crossed that his HW test comes back negative.

Glad to hear that he tolerated the treatment so well. I bet he and Barney can't wait to play together again, I am sure it has been tough to restrict his activity for so long.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
I hope too everything continues to go well for Tal.
YAY I'm glad it's over hopefully the test in 4 months will still be all clear and you can get on with getting on.
Yay! I'm sure you're relieved to have that done with. Now comes the hard part - waiting!
Fingers crossed that this one comes back negative. You caught it early, so hopefully the treatment worked.
ditto!!! :-* :-* and hugs to Tal!Originally Posted by bacatherine
