    DefaultNot a morning person...er...dog!

Every morning when I get up (around 6:00 a.m.), the first thing I do is get Maggie to take her outside. She is always SOUND asleep! Is this normal? I think I'm just paranoid because this is quite a new experience for me. I don't know whether to just laugh about the fact that she's a heavier sleeper than I am; or be concerned that something may be wrong. Should I just let her sleep in, or continue trying to get her on a schedule?

She will adapt to your schedule so don't worry about it. I think most people would be happy that their dawg sleeps until they wake them up.

Count yourself lucky. Rush wakes me up every morning about 10 til 7 if I get to sleep that long, because it's time to potty and EAT!!!!!
