    DefaultMealtime at our House

Especially now that I am feeding Tal and Barney homecooked food, they get alot more excited about mealtimes! Midnight still prefers his kibble... :surprise: But here's the looks I get:

    C'mon dad, let's eat already!

Her highness waiting to be served..

Note that I cannot seem to take a really good indoor picture..

I never realized what a truly food motivated dog was till I got a lab. Ceaser tears into the kitchen and plops down into a pretty sit every time the "goody" pantry door is opened!

Glad they are doing well with the home cooked meals. I have thought about starting Ceaser and Heidi on home cooked. How much more time and expense has it been, if ya don't mind me asking...

You have three buddies waiting patiently to eat. What good pups & cat. I like the looks on Tal & Barney's faces. Barney has such a sweet face. Did the looks make you move faster?

Not at all. It has actually been less expensive because for the price of one bag of food, I can feed them both for a month. It took two bags of kibble.

It really doesn't take alot of prep time because I spend Sat mornings cooking for myself ofr the next weeks lunches. So it's not a big deal for them!

I use some brown rice (make sure fully cooked because they will poop the rice and not get the nutrition if not!), broccoli, spinich, and boil some ground beef or chicken breast, safflower oil, and a little salt.

I'll sometimes use other veggies, and I include a dab of pumpkin on their food too.

With all the recalls and everything, I just decided I wasn't going to risk it. Besides, I like doing for them.

My daughter, 31 years old, says she can tell how long it took me to feed HK by the size of the drool pool on the floor.
