Just wondering if you decided on an equine. Since we didn't get any Quinn or Jake pics, I hope it was a good day otherwise!

Egads! What a nightmare. The horse was nuts, the woman was nuts. Well broke she stated. Well, yeah he was broke all right. LOL. Even she couldn't ride him. The trainer that was with me refused to get near the horse, it was so out of control. Plus he was lame in the off rear leg. Stone bruise from riding, she said. Riding where??? The damn thing refused to move a foot forward.
I drove 300 miles for nothing and yeah I'm a bit pissed off. It was SNOWING there and my poor car was so damn dirty I couldn't see out the windows. I had to drive it through the car wash twice!!
I'm looking at another horse and deciding if I want him or not. 18 year old Egyptian Arab. Nice horse. Hadn't been ridden in 3 months, yet a nice gentleman when I got on him. Listens really well and very responsive.
I'm not normally an Arab fan, but he's not one of those crazy Arabs. Totally bombproof, totally. Of course all my tack fits a stinkin' QH or Paint. LOL
I need a beer after today. (maybe several) At least me, the boarding guy and the trainer had a good laugh. We didn't think any horse could be as bad as Diamond, a horse we saw a few weeks ago. Wrong! I kept apologizing and they were like, no worries, now we have a new story to tell.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I'm sure that special one will come along eventually!
It's not the destination, it's the journey!
Well crap,I'd be pissed off too.
Too bad. But you'll find your horse Laura...

I didn't know you were looking for a horse. I would recommend them sending a video to you before your next trip unless it is local. I would hesitate on an Arab as well.
