It bothered me that several folks have commented that Remi never seems to look happy in her pics. So today we took a few that perhaps show that happier side of her.
We had no more than gotten to the wetlands this morning when a lone Speckle Belly Goose wandered too close to our dekes ...
A happy girl posing with her Daddy after retrieving the goose to hand ...
"What's next Dad, huh? Can I go check the timber hole please, can I huh, can I ?"
"Shucks, nothing there ... but that's ok ... what's next, where can I go, what can I do?"
Little later, home posing with Mommie ...
And of course, Remi is always willing to share with her best bud, Cappy boy ...
BTW ... look at the difference in grips between 10 year old experienced Cappy and a very inexperienced Remi with only her 2nd ever goose retrieve.
Remi and Rusty aren't my whole life. They're trying to fill the hole in my heart left by Cappy's passing.
More wonderful pics. I think she looks QUITE content!

Happy girl !
That's not an unhappy look ! It's concentration !
Great pics. She looks not only happy....but proud! (as she should!)

"I got the ball Mom....!!!"
She looks VERY happy! 8)
While I haven't ever noticed that about Remi, some dogs (our Libby would be a prime example- camera picked up= ears flat down) just don't love the idea of getting their pictures taken. If you can get them out of the "pose for the camera" scenerio, they're the happiest dogs of all! LOL

She's smiling even with a goose in her mouth.

Both your dogs look pretty darn pleased to me, all the time! Excellent pics. Looks like a great time.
Great pictures. I think she looks happy & proud.
I love the picture of her in the water. She looks so much like my Nellie in that picture.
