    DefaultParker To The Hospital

Last night around 12, my husband decides to go down and eat (he's a weird eater, more on that another time). The remainder of DD's birthday cake is iin the microwave. It was a rectangular torte sort of thing with cake, whipped cream and dark chocolate icing. Well he set it close to the edge and Parker got it and ate it. It was probably about two pieces, but like I said it was like a ganache type frosting. I called the ER animal hospital and they said bring him in. So I got dressed, drove him out there (45 min) he got the shot and upped his cookies and was fine. No ill effects...except for me not getting to bed until 4 AM. But hey if my best bud is alright it's fine with me. As I said before the things I don't do for this dog

At least Parker ate food. I think Ranger ate some steel wool pads this morning. Glad to hear Parker is okay. You get big DogMom points for taking him in in the middle of the night.

Morning! Glad Parker is fine. I would suggest you talk with your vet and consider having a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in the house at all times. Its cheap, works great at getting the furkids to upchuck the bad stuff they may get in to. i.e Chocolate, rat poison, whatever. The sooner it is given the more effective at getting it up. Its a lot cheaper than the evet.

    Parker!

Henery here... congrats on your wicked good countersurfing score!!! Better watch out though, cuz next time your Momma might put hydrogen peroxide bubblies down your throat, and they make your tummy all funny and then you barf everywheres.
