I took them for a boat ride today, and there were ducks everywhere. Bruno was so worked up over them, I could see he wanted to jump in after them, but he obeyed my "stay, leave it". When we got in, he immediately jumped in and swam toward some near-by ducks with that focused, determined look in his eyes. I had visions of him half way across the lake in no time. I yelled "leave it, come!" and he turned and came back! Good boy! I turned and ordered them "Go home". M&J were on their way home, but no Bruno. I called him and he came running out of the woods with an 8 foot branch in his mouth, proud of what he found. What a clown! I just love that boy.

Good boy, Bruno. I hope your Momma let you keep the big stick for listening to her so well about the ducks.
What a very good boy! There is nothing more thrilling than that, is there? You train and train and train for those moments, then when they come and the training actually works....I'm always like OMG! I can't believe it!
