    DefaultRaw pads, need help

Rocky was running around the pool on the concrete deck so much today that he wore out the front pad on each of his front feet to the point that they were almost bleeding. Can I apply anything that will accelerate the healing process and relieve the pain when he walks?

First apply some triple-antibiotic ointment like Neosporin (a generic will do).
Give his pads a chance to heal. Keep them clean with Witch Hazel (I'm a HUGE believer in its curative powers). After that? The pads will naturally toughen up. Bag Balm will keep them supple and reduce the tendency for splits and tears. He's a lab... he's not meant to have velvet soft paws, just velvet soft ears.

Manuku Honey is also great for fast healing.

I use providone iodine ointment and wrap it for a couple of days. Works great.
