DefaultI knew Caleb was smart, but...

now he's thinking! Yesterday and today I gave him a turkey wing for a few minutes. Both days, after he reluctantly gave me the wing when his time was up, he dashed into the livingroom and brought me Elmo! I swear he was trying to trade me his most prized possession for that dang wing! Funny thing is, I've never done the "trade for a higher value" thing with him. I've always just used pieces of dog biscuit (or when at class the home made training treats).

Smart boy. He is destined to be a very successful entrepreneur with his negotiating skills.
From what I understand from people who feed a raw diet, you can feed raw uncooked poultry including bones. Maybe let that boy have his wing and eat it too.

From what I have seen, they are more skilled at reasoning than we give them credit for.

Actually, he only gets it for a few minutes at a time over the course of a couple of days so he doesn't get the big D. He'll be finishing it off tomorrow after I get home from work.

Amazing how much they understand. I agree that there's more reasoning going on than we give them cresit for.

Caleb sounds like he's got a successful future in business.

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
