    DefaultSome good news, FINALLY!! :)

Our Boo-man's kidney levels (UREA and Creatinine) have come way down from yesterday. UREA is at 6.9 (was 14 yesterday, high normal is 9.6) and Creatinine is at 160 (was 225 yesterday, high normal is 159)!

So he's moving in the right direction. Creatinine is still high, but improving, Thank God.

He'll still be another few days (at least) in hospital, as they slooowwwllly wean him down off fluids and re-check to make sure his kidneys are holding their own, but at this point, the sick twisting of my stomach has started to subside.

There's a chance his levels may go up once he's weaned off the fluids in which case he'll need to go back on for awhile longer, but the doctors are hopeful that he'll continue to improve from here. With any luck he may be able to regain full function of his kidneys and have no lasting effects from this horrible experience. I continue to pray and think positively for that.

So, Thank God and thank you guys!! I KNOW all those good thoughts and prayers were heard and felt.

Baby steps but each one in the right direction is a good thing. Keep it going Boo-man-chew. We're pulling for you.

    Thanks for the update.

Wonderful! Fingers crossed that he continues to improve and his kidneys fully recover.
